Learning new skills?

I'm working on a elementalist in Nightfall and I don't seem to see quests to gain new basic skill for free. Do you have to buy all skills in Nightfall?

For the most part yes. However, there are a limited number of hero skill points that you will get when you raise in a title and such. Look for the hero skill trainers in the different towns and such in Elona. There is a limited number of skills each trainer has but you can choose from the different professions for both your heros and secondaries. Any skill you unlock for a hero you learn on that pve character.

Thanks, I have training points for the hero skill trainers but I've never used them. If I wanted a hero to get a skill I usually used Ellsbeth (only one to finish first 3 campaigns) to buy the skill from the regular skill trainer or cap the elite.

I didn't know how else for my new elementalist to get new skills, because buying gets expensive very quickly.
